"To earn immortality, a man should...

- Have a child
- Plant a tree
- Build a house
- Write a book."

Variations of this quote have been attributed to various individuals such as Pythagoras, Picasso, Jose Marti, and the Talmud.

I love this quote and all that it implies. I have modified it for personal use by adding an additional instruction:

“… develop exceptional leaders who can

develop the next generation of exceptional leaders.”

There’s no greater mission for me than to help others realize their significance and potential as leaders.
That’s why I’ve dedicated the rest of my life to what I believe I do best: teach, train, and develop leaders.

On the back of my business card is a quote from Pericles, who was a prominent and influential
Greek statesman, orator, and general:

“What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven
into the lives of others.” – Pericles, 450 B.C.

At this point in my life, my sole purpose and passion is to pass on the leadership lessons
I’ve learned on the battlefield and in the boardroom to those who will lead others long after
my time on this earth has passed.
I will leave behind exceptional leaders.
